WordPress is an extremely powerful cms with endless possibilities. It started back in 2003 as a blog platform but it has become one of the most popular tools to manage a website. With wordpress you can manage any type of website, a blog, an online store, a corporate website. So, how do you install wordpress on your host?

There are actually two ways to do that:

Automatic way – Login to your wordpress hosting account ( cpanel ) and find the Fantastico or Softaculous icon. These are libraries that can install any script with few clicks. Find wordpress and click ” install “. Fill in all the required information and complete installation. Now, your blog is ready for set up. You can access your admin area at yourblog.com/wp-admin

Manual way – Not advisable unless you are good in script installations. Download all wordpress files at your computer and unzip them. Then go to your wordpress hosting account ( cpanel ) and create a directory and a database. Next, login with your ftp account and upload all wordpress files.
